How to chat without using the GAFAM?
Let's use Free Open Source Software (FOSS), it's hosted on my own server (in EU) and end-to-end encrypted, available on Mac, Android, Linux, Windows, whatever you use.
Go to https://app.element.io/#/register and edit "host account on" from "matrix.org" to "matrix.alfredolin.eu".
And follow the instructions. Please choose your username wisely: don't put your family name and write it in lower case.
Once registered, choose an app from there: https://matrix.org/ecosystem/clients/
Login and add me with the ID @alfredolin:matrix.alfredolin.eu -don't forget the ":matrix.alfredolin.eu"-, I will then add you to the group(s).
